The Tree of Life: Luang Prabang, Laos

The mosaic was crafted on the west wall of a main hall during its renovation in 1960s.  It is one of the best known images in modern Lao art. Other walls are also decorated with mosaics, which are mostly described Lao traditional daily lives. Another mosaic art can be seen on the interior walls of Royal Palace Museum.

It was crafted by the same artisans of the Tree of Life.
