몰디브는 전국민이 무슬림인 나라이기 때문에 전체 지역사회에서 이슬람 관습을 따르고 있습니다. 

국민 대다수가 영어를 유창하게 구사하지만 모국어는 디베히어입니다. 

디베히어는 다양한 방언이 존재하는 몰디브 특유의 언어입니다.
